Joseph Lawler

Before joining the Examiner, I was the editor of RealClearPolicy, a sister publication of RealClearPolitics. Previously, I was the managing editor of The American Spectator magazine. My work has appeared in The New Atlantis, The Atlantic, Politico, The American Conservative, First Things magazine, The Washington Times, and other publications.

I was born in South Bend, Indiana, and grew up in the Massachusetts towns of Dedham and South Lancaster. I received a degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame.
